Red face new and excited.

I have 2004 g35 sedan.
Automatic with sport shift opt.
18in 8.5 front
18in 9.5 rear
borla cat back exhaust
injen cold air
kinetix plenum

i notice drop in low end, and gained strong mid to high (starts at 3ooorpm pulls hard and steady til 55oorpm)

is there different mods to give back the low end that was lost, and is there any programmers available TO REMOVE THE REV LIMIT OR TOP SPEED GOV?

for low end, try the MD 5/16 spacer, and for the limiter get a tune?

Some tuning options will let you increase rev limit. (osiris, technosquare, Emanage Ultimate, UTEC)

ART pipes are known to give you low end torque gains.

dont do a spacer WITH the upper plenum. honestly, id sell the plenum and do the 5/16" MD isothermal spacer kit. sell the injen CAI and go the stillen/r2c/afe stage2/ztube and revup airbox intake. test pipes next. then tune

WHAT IS THE DIFFERANCE IN THE SPACER VS. THE PLENUM?
NOT UNDERSTANDING THE "stillen/r2c/afe stage2/ztube and revup airbox intake" DESCRIBE PLEASE, AND WHERE CAN I GET THEM?
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT HFC PIPES, AND 4.08 GEARS?

Kinetic plenum is a complete waste.. doesn't do anything.. just get a plenum spacer..

Idk how well the ART pipes would work with is Borla. The Borla pipes are quite small, only 2.25", but the ART pipes are 2.5". That's be a bitch of a restriction.

I think he should throw on a Magnaflow X-Pipe! I did it to my Borla, and I love it. It sounds better, but I am unsure if it yielded any power gains.

Old thread, but wanted to clarify info above. If I'm not mistaken ART's are 2.25.

Rasp is generated by reflections of shockwaves bouncing back and forth inside the pipes.

Going to 3" (or even dual 3") isn't a problem if its done properly. It depends on a number of factors. Muffler design being one of the.

The Shockwave))) TDX for example is dual 3" and it doesn't rasp.
