What kind of Intake is this?

Hey guys,

I bought a mostly stock car but it's got some kind of CAI. The bottom of it is a 3" cone and it's an 03 6mt coupe. I thought these usually have square air filters, but this one has an aftermarket cone at the bottom.

I just want to know what kind it is and if it is any good. I want to go the stillen ztube/k&n/JWT route and just want any input.

All it says is "made in japan"..

^+1. lol. That intake is kinda weird. The pipes are big though. But I wouldn't use any metal pipes as an intake because of heat soak.

idk the pipes look kinda large to be AEM.... might be a good thing.... just go down to your local autozone or napa and pick up some thermal header wrap to get rid of that heat soak and your good

ive seen some of the generic intakes from ebay lookin like that. the one i had on my car was 2.75 then went to 3" without the noticeable flare...but i used an aem dryflow filter.
