Just go with megan resonated test pipes you'll probably gain more hp with test pipes and they are way cheaper

The price you're quoting....^....isn't correct. Sure you can go with the prices some of our vendors quote or you can shop around and ask question of other company's on our MARKETPLACE. Check Mr.Wong/Static and ask Henry what he can get you BERK'S for, it will be considerably less than what LiquidClen posted. Other members are having this hissing issue after installing HFCs but I spent the extra $$ for new OE gaskets that are far superior to what comes with the cats. Guess what, I don't have leaks or hissing noises....

was there a noticable difference? between having the HFC installed and OE cats?

The only exhaust Id ever buy over stock is motordyne tdx v2. Saving up for ART pipes now tho, the exhaust note with ART pipes is amazing. Gives the stock note that needed deeper tone without overpowering it.

It's funny you mention this.
I just came across this video clip and think it's one of the best sounding exhausts of our coupes.
I love my Tanabe/HFC but I'm jealous.

Something to do with the back pressure.
Kinda reminds me of the sound of a BOV.
Having had time to actuallty watch the vid I realize that is a completely diff hiss.
That's pretty bad. Mine is far less pronounced, only noticeable on full throttle and even then not that bad.

Yes and no... Don't be expecting a huge gain but it did have a slightly noticeable power difference. The sounds is really what changed or should I say increased.. Just sounds stock with a little more rumble. Also, I completely agree with Gary that the gaskets make a big difference and should be replace during install of HFC.

I agree this G sounds great I'm really diging the ARK exhaust with the X pipe. I'm truly starting to think there really isn't a better exhaust.. Mostly after seeing the H pipe on the HKS.

I went with an X02 exhaust, but only because my OEM was rotting out too severely. I loooooved the sound of my OEM exhaust with Kinetix HFC's... but eventually the leaks got the best of me. Now I have an X02 exhaust, kinetix HFC's, and a Magnaflow X-pipe muffler welded in the middle of it. Sounds excellentttt, but not that sexy OEM sound. Just sounds meaner, but smooth. Once I get this new bberry OS working on my phone, I'll be able to put up the video I've been trying to record!

This thread got me thinking so I decided to check if I had the slight hissing
with my Berk HFCs and it WAS present.
I had to park in an undergound parking lot and rev the engine.
Only then could I hear the hiss when the revs were lessening.
I then did some searching and found many threads on the hissing of many HFCs for our Gs.
Guys did everything from heat wrap, changing HFCs, replacing gaskets....
The hissing can be lessened but not completely done away with.
The hissing sound is more prevelant for certain cars, the G being one.
It's even more noticeable on the HR engines.

The hissing sound doesn't point to any problem with the HFCs,
It's just the way they sound when coupled with our engines' setup.
If you're worried about having this hissing you may want to check out fellow
driver cars and see how they're setup sounds.
Everyones is going to be slightly diff with regards to hiss.

Are these what you're talking about?
http://www.wotm.com/meraretepi35.html

I know I could find these answers if I did a little more research, but the vid/exhaust sounds perfect.

Is that a reasonable price (the link i posted)?
Noticeable power gain (any specific numbers? 5? 10?)
Easy to install?
