I also love the oem exhaust but had to go aftermarket because wanted more power. If I could get just as much power out of the factory exhaust I would have kept it.

Getting High flow cats would do the job
Plus, you get HP gains you can feel!

example:

Most popular HFC choices are Fast Intensions and Berk

Trix nailed it....^....the OE cats are were most of the restriction is, you wouldn't believe looking inside that anything could get thru. They have two different types of cats one on each end....super restrictive!

I agree, the stock exhaust note is sex and I do miss it every now and then. But I definitely don't regret having my current MotorDyne setup.

I like the OEM exhaust sound too!! I was gonna install HFC's or res TP's. Instead, my OEM exhaust cracked and fell apart so I just got a catback instead.

true. but for the price of a HFC, which goes around 400 i think? couldnt I just pay a little more for a exhaust system?

i cant weigh each other out, because i had personally not heard both. seen it on youtube, but hearings it in real life i would prefer.

Yes you could buy a catback, but you'd still have the bottleneck of the stock cats. Unless you don't care about performance.....

I get that noise between shifts when I'm going hard on the gas since I've had my Berks installed.
Something to do with the back pressure.
Kinda reminds me of the sound of a BOV.

Yeah, i bought bassani to get rid of that hiss, so annoying. Haven't regretted it since.

I have test pipes though.

Yeah the OEM note is awesome, nothing else like it.
I would go back to the oem muffler with HFCs but I love the look of my
Tanabe Exhaust way too much.

I am stuck in this same situation I really love the stock note. So I just picked up a set of Berk hfc I love the new sound but now I want more... I'm thinking of going to pick up a duel ARK exhaust but I'm worried about the sound difference.. Tough call... What do the other drivers think... Worth it or not???

Berk HFC's are $499! WOW that's expensive lol. How does everybody feel about the look of "burnt" exhaust tips?
