Guys did everything from heat wrap, changing HFCs, replacing gaskets....The hissing can be lessened but not completely done away with. The hissing sound is more prevelant for certain cars, the G being one. It's even more noticeable on the HR engines. The hissing sound doesn't point to any problem with the HFCs,
It's just the way they sound when coupled with our engines' setup.
If you're worried about having this hissing you may want to check out fellow
driver cars and see how they're setup sounds.
Everyones is going to be slightly diff with regards to hiss.
That's....^....great news, I'm so glad you read my post!

I seriously believe if you use the quality OE gaskets while installing your HFCs you won't get the dreaded hissing noise. After install I left my coupe on the rack and ran it looking for leaks/noise and a week later while changing my oil did the same without hearing any unwanted noise....high quality OE gaskets are the answer and they cost $40 for 4 but worth it to me.

I know I could find these answers if I did a little more research, but the vid/exhaust sounds perfect.

Is that a reasonable price (the link i posted)?
Noticeable power gain (any specific numbers? 5? 10?)
Easy to install?
Those are the ones I'm using and they are great, they're holding up find in -45 winter too! hahaha

Actually this is not my car but it does sound pretty nice and yes those are the ones in the link. I think you can actually find them for a better price here in the vendor section. I got an X02 on mine and Im planning on getting these as well with a magnaflow x pipe.

How does the nismo catback sound in person? Does it retain the stock sound only louder? I have the megan catback and not super thrilled with the sound.

Don't take it so personally.
I DID read your post and after doing some research found that even after numerous people changed their gaskets among other things (as I mentioned in MY post) they still had the prob.
Even with OE gaskets.
I'm not negating what you say in your post I'm sure you fixed your issue.
I'm just letting other people know in this thread what my research has revealed.
Who knows maybe all the other people were lying about changing their gaskets

I think the oem exhaust is almost perfect. I do wish it was a little louder, easily fixed. Keep in mind most aftermarket exhausts will drone on the highway, which gets very annoying. The oem exhaust comes alive under hard acceleration, is quite on the highway. Its all about the VQ howl around 3700 rpm. Music to my ears.
