while looking for my exhaust i was in the same boat as you, i really wanted to avoid rasp and that high pitched mosquito type sound. in my research i came across ARK performance grip exhaust. no rasp, low rumble at idle, and in acceleration it is a bolder version of the original exhaust note. i love it...

check out the link in my signature for a sound clip of it

I haven't heard any G/Z with Ricer exhaust sound. Our engines are not like Honda's engines. But if you are talking about loud, drone... Then dont get the X02 (HKS replica), I know many ppl here like it because of the price and the design. But, you pay for what you get. X02 is a POS, IMO. A lot of drone and nothing deep. It screams a lot and if you are sitting in the back seat, you would know what I am talking about.
My suggestion is real HKS TD exhaust, Stillen TD, Injen TD, and Invidia Gemini TD (this is what I have on my car). They are all great exhaust.

I had the Injen SES TD exhaust that had your desired "deep low exhaust tone" but it had a serious drone.

I've had the X02 for almost 2 years now, and my ONLY issue with it, is the tips are cruddy now. They are loud and have very little drone. Only spot I have an issue with is on decel at 2500 (and that isn't the fault of the exhaust, just found out the cat brace is missing the other day) I'm so glad I spent 500 instead of 1500, the extra grand for the exhaust would have been a waste.

If you are the driver, then you wouldnt feel the drone at all. But let someone drive your car and you stay in the back seat, you would feel how loud it is. I mean it is ok to have it but it screams alot => no deep tone. My friend has X02 on his car and he is switching to another exhaust too.

i think op is talking about the typical muffler deep tone with drone that u normally would get on most of the cars u hear out there. u kno the one where it sounds like the cars going 50mph when its only going 15mph

^i wouldn't get it....i had an x02 and sold it a month after i got it. You get what you pay for. Stay stock and save for the right exhaust, or if you already have the money...go with motordyne.

Didn't fit right, didn't like the sound inside the car. To me it sounded like an old beat up car with a whole in the exhaust. Of course this is my personal opinion...you might like the exhaust, or you might hate it. But usually, you get what you pay for.

This wasn't the X02 Exhaust. I didn't like the high drone from the X02. I bought this from another vendor in Ebay a year ago now. The sound remained the same with no problems for me after a year owning it. No rusts or issues.

I have the XO2 and hate the drone when the windows are up. In cabin it is deafening. The HFCs didn't help either. When the windows are down though the sound is awesome! I've gotten a lot of compliments and for $400 shipped you can't complain. I haven't rode in a car that had the real HKS before though so I can't compare. I have heard it though and the XO2 sounds just the same.
