like the title says:
Anyone know if a g37 exhaust would fit an 350z or g35.
After digging through a bunch of information, apparently the y-pipe is a direct fit, but Im just not too sure on the midpipe and muffler..
Found a really good deal on a full oem g37 exhaust and thinking about picking it up...

I asked an infiniti dealer if the nismo true dual for the 370 would fit on a G35 and he said he highly doubts it due to it being a competely diffferent motor

To answer these questions, YES it will fit, G37 sway bar will have to be swapped with the exhaust though. The G35 Y-pipe bolts up to the G37 Midpipes, and the forward hanger on the muffler is on the opposite side, but the rear pipes, and rear 2 hangers hold it just fine.

there is a noticable power change, not sure if it's more of a HP change, but def smoother acceleration and shifting in the wifes AT coupe.

As for sound, inside the car seems to have lost some sound, but still noticable outside, has the same tone, maybe a smidge quieter but not too much, the power change makes up for it though.

This does open up the ability to use a G37 axleback exhaust though for a dual exhaust x-pipe setup.

JUST to clarify, I drove a G37S 6MT coupe, and swapped my OEM exhaust onto my wifes 06 G35 AT coupe.

So you swapped the whole G37system over to the G35 along with the 37's rear sway, that was it besides the forward hanger being on the opposite sides. Any other issues ????

I'm adding a G37 Acc muffler basically a IPL muffler to my custom 2.5 setup next week. I'll post pics and video when it's done.
