Re: NISMO S-tune Exhaust

NISMO 350Z's exhaust will fit w/ a 6" extender, but the rear tips will still be approx. 2" short. NISMO do make one for the G35c, but it's aprrox. double the price. I really don't know why the G35c's cost more, go figure.

Re: NISMO S-tune Exhaust

If after installing 6" extender and still 2"short, why not putting 8" extender?

Re: NISMO S-tune Exhaust

The 6" extender is to extend the exhaust hinge to seat in the correct place. The tips are shorter too that's why it's 2" shorter.

In that case, is there anyway to fix the fitting problem?

You can have a muffler shop cut off the tips and weld extension onto the actual tips.

Or you can just buy the JDM Skyline 350GT Nismo exhaust and have no problems.

I think the only way is to buy the one that's made for the G35c. Cutting off the tips and rewelding it is kind of ghetto IMO.

Where would you find a JDM Skyline Nismo Exhaust? How is that different from a Nismo Weldina Exhaust? As far as I know, the Weldina cost more than double the regular Nismo system.

There is no "regular" Nismo exhaust. There's the Fairlady/350Z exhaust and there's the Skyline/G35 exhaust.

The Nismo system that is available here in the US is brought over from Japan by Nissan USA for the 350Z. Infiniti won't import the Nismo exhaust for our G35 coupes, so our only option is to order it from Japan.

www.japanparts.com is where you can order. I'm sure there are several other places that can order it for you.

Thank you all for the information. Why is there such a difference between in cost between a 350Z Nismo and a G35 specific unit? Are they designed differently?

G35 with Nismo s tune exhaust

I got a s tune on my g and it sounds amazing , if you don’t want tin buy the extension price then go to a muffler shop and have them fab one up for you it cost 20 -30 bucks . Also sense the tips are shorter I had them bend them so they don’t melt the bumper . sounds perfect
