My Megan V2 TPs Review...help me pick some new TPs

Hi everyone,

So here's my quick story, bought a set of Megan V2 Test Pipes and have the following pros and cons:

Pros:
- Good deep sound from exhaust at WOT and keeps the stock G exhaust noise when cruising around, so It's definitely not obnoxious or even obvious
- Good Gains based on butt dyno
- Best bang for the buck mod

Neutral:
- Gas smell, which is ok for me but not others...and there will def be a strong gas smell around your car and sometimes IN your car if you cruise with your windows down and theres a bit of wind...

CONS:

- Between 2k and 2500rpm, theres a woosh noise, which was dare I say cool at first but kind of annoying at this point...passengers always think my car is falling apart or something is wrong with it....don't really like it at this point
- Check Engine light came on and stayed on, even tho the V2 Megan TPs were supposed to not give me that check engine light....same as above, it kind of bugs to drive around with the check engine light on like something is wrong....and also, if there really was something that was in fact wrong I couldnt really know when it happens since the light is always on....

So clearly the Megan V2 TPs aren't for me...

What else would you guys recommend for TPs? Are there any that wouldnt make that noise when going up and down revs, and doesnt give me a check engine light?

What are all the TPs sold and made out there for us? So Far i found:

- Kinetix
- AAM Spec
- Titek
- Invidia
- Berk
- Stillen

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Art Pipes are a bit too expensive....

What do you guys think are the best test pipes for our Gs? I've heard good things about Fast Intentions pipes...

labree test pipes are very hard to find as they are not made anymore..the resonators used are Sebring tuning on those test pipes. I believe Fast Intentions uses Sebring Tuning now..you can try out them.
