Guide pin problems

Yesterday I installed my 5/16" motordyne isothermal plenum spacers with the copper tb spacer, my problem is that I couldnt remove the guide pins for the upper plenum, I left it as is and now my car idles extremely low, I believe its just a leak from the plenum not being fully sealed, so how can I remove the guide pins? The 4mm socket wouldnt work due to stripped bolt

Did you try using the two nuts screwed together as shown in the instruction manual? It works every time.

also it sounds like my ztube/popcharger upgrade isnt pulling in as much air, could that be due to the spacers? or should i reset my tb config?
