I just bought the new ART V2 pipes, I know there not HFC's but they are way quieter than my Megan Test pipes I had on prior and it feels like it pulls more in the lower RPM's. Definitely worth looking into

do you mean the least raspy? because w/different exhausts it'd be pretty tough to say what one is quietest.

I thought ART pipes replaces the HFC?

The MD XYZ pipe (Y-pipe) has a HFC that attaches to it.

Check it out here under exhaust components.

I want to go ART but I can't pass emissions with it. Also I'm ordering the ARK Grip exhaust so I can't use the Y-Pipe. At least I think!

HFC attached to ART pipes? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the ART pipes?

you could swap it in and out with his other attachments if you needed to pass emissions or wanted it to be real quiet.

Nope.
If the HFC is relocated further downstream like how its done on the XYZ pipe you end up making more power and its quieter too.

I see...but ART pipes alone are still the optimal setup correct?

Optimal is subjective to what you are trying to achieve. If you want the most output then the cost is noise and emissions. If you need to run cats for some reason the art plus xyz pipe with hfc module is a great option.
