megan test pipes

So I replaced my stock cats with Megan test pipes and now winding down around 2500 RPMs I have a horrible screeching noise that i just cant put up with anymore. I was planning on just throwing my stock cats back on but i was wondering if anyone has tried having a shop cut them off and put in strait pipes. I know that would cut off my brackets though so it would no longer be able to bolt on cats or test pipes or something in the future. any suggestions?

If you don't like the sound of Megan TPs then there is no way you'll be able to stand straight pipes. It will more than likely be very loud with tons of rasp.

I like the sounds they produce especially just past 3k rpms. But after shifting when the rpms drop or just slowing down I hear a really bad screetching noise starting around 2500 and all the way to about 2000.
