Scraped Y pipe! is it still good? PICS

Tore/Scraped the mesh on the y-pipe. do i have to get a new one? is it repairable?

the mesh is just in there to protect the flex pipe underneath it from corrosion, should be fine

That's nothing. My Nismo Y-pipe was scraped so bad you could see a hole in the flex pipe. I just had it replaced with a piece of pipe

as long as you don't hear your exhaust leaking or get a check engine light you will be fine.

Man that thing is a big NO NO on the streets. Trust me your car might EXPLODE and IMPLODE all at the same time. Send it to me and I will take care of shipping and disposal.
