5/16 3/8 or 1/2 spacer?
thats what im leaning towards. now heres another question... i live in NJ where we see all the seasons, 95 degree summer days and 15 degree winter days. would i benefit more from the coppor iso thermal spacer? just the isothermal? or basic?
I have an 06 coupe 6MT and went against the norm and purchased the 1/2" along with the MREV2. There is a bit more growl with the 1/2", in my opinion.
I dont think anyone has used two spacers at once. Not sure about the outcome but you would need longer bolts and rubbing the hood might be a concern.
I am kidding. Look at my post below, I think I showed a "mature", knowledgable post?
I been reading about the spacer mod and im still not sure if I wonna do it. I no it want give jaw dropping power but I at least want to feel like it was worth removing a very important part of my engine to install the spacer. I just installed a new rev-up box and i did feel a noticable change in drivablity and response. I have seen the dynos on the website and seen lots of testimonials from members that say they could feel a difference. I just wonna make sure this is not like an intake change that fooled most of us for years thinking they added power to our cars. My car is a daily driver and out of warranty so unless it's a meaningful change i won't do it. If I do it will be the 5 1/6 for sure. Im on the fence here guys? help me out.....
Do the research.. all the forums and discussions on here... as well as the dyno data, both from Motordyne and independents, all agree that the plenum spacer IS the best bang for the buck of our VQ engines, short of going FI!
