If you are looking to get one for performance reasons I'd suggest checking out this thread first so you can make an informed decision:

Z-tube : $40-60

Revup-: $40-60

K&N: NEW is $30 and used should be $15-20. Now you must be thinking K&N is always $50 and all vendors sell it for $50 all day long. Fear not I have your back and will undercut all the vendors.

Look on MY350z.com for Z-tube. Look on G35driver for rev-up box. You need just the back of the box that has the VELOCITY STACK and try to stay away from 350z version since it involves more work to fit. I would check your junkyard and other places that have wrecked 350z and G35

REV-UP box: 2005-2006 6 Speed Sedan & 2005-2007 6 Speed Coupe

Z-tube: Made by stillen or stock OEM 350z intake tube

Z-TUBE

REV-UP on left with larger VELOCITY STACK

MORE MODS THAT PEOPLE LOVE TO CHARGE FOR

Here you go man plenty of DIY and if you actually use your head you can fabricate some pretty nice parts to make a stealth CAI setup.

OP you know the previous poster has a point and it might be the weekend and the alchohol that is about to be ingested but whatever. Here is what I should have posted up in the first place but would appreciate a "THANKS" for CandleStickPark and me. You can give us the thumbs up under each post that you find we took the time out to reply to your post.

I'll upload some pics here in a little. But I went pep boys on my intake. It goes all the way down to the splash guard. I get great air flow and about 30 mpg.
Pretty insane.
All you need is some clamps 2 45 degree bent pipes thermal wrapped and your set.
It pulls a lot harder too. And took the "womp" out of the high rpm's

I agree with this.

I have tried a lot, I have a NISMO long tube now, and all they do is add noise. There is really NO gain you can feel. If I had it to do over, I would have kept my old air box and just put in a good filter. BTW, the only advantage to a Ztube is noise and cleaning up the engine compartment.

PS: his prices are good.

So it looks like most of you guys are suggesting to keeping the oem airbox and buy a flat filter vs cone.

I honestly think that it really does not matter. Just get whatever you want. The power difference from one to the other is so minimal you will never feel it driving around on the street. The only difference seems to be in the top of the upper RPM range anyway which is only experienced every so often on the street. I feel the cheapest way to do anything is to get a K&N and open up the factory airbox, do something like I did in the link above. I would skip the Z tube, save the money for something that makes a real difference...like tires.
