Knocking out stock cats

Hey guys, I just got my second g35 and my first g35 came with high flo cats on the car and he gave me the stock cats that came off the car. On my new g35 I have a borla cat back. If I knock out the metal on the stock cats will that help me gain performance and sound? I don't think the borla is agressive enough.
Thanks

y not just throw test pipes on it then. and you won't ruin ur cats which are very expensive and not to mention could come in handy later on down the road if you ever were to need them

buy test pipes, art pipes, or hfcs instead of trying to mod your oem.

The only benefit to gutting the cats compared to getting Straight Pipes would be passing a visual inspection, provided you don't live in an area that does smog checks.
