ART pipes with HFC
Hi I'm interested in upgrading my berk HFC to ART pipes. I want the gains from the ART pipes, but not the fumes. I'm wondering if anyone has looked into putting a HFC in the 6" extentions on the TDX2 exhaust. I thought it could be a nice spot where it wouldn't hurt performance too much. Thanks.

Have you ever considered making them? I know the market would be small, but it looks like you could shorten the HFC module for the xyz pipe with a v-band flange on both sides.
If you did this, I would buy as well. I'm in the same boat. I want full MD exhaust but am hesitant about the fumes from the ART pipes. If there were a HFC somewhere down the line in the TDX2 I would buy right now.
I actually think this would be a really great selling product. There's a lot of people that want the ART pipes without the fumes. I want ART pipes with the TDX2 so badly, fingers crossed. This with HFC would be my perfect set up.

Do you have a sound clip of that set up? Ive been thinking of doing this! Also what exhaust are you running?
Besides what Tony is able to to, OP's only choice as of today is the Shockwave v1 with HFC accessory, and the v2 end resonators to kill the drone, or live with the fumes from the ART/TDX2 setup.
The only thing holding me back from ART pipes is the fumes.. I couldn't handle it with my car being a DD and all.. So if there is a way to eliminate the smell while maintaining the performance, I'm 100% in.
Count me in for a Shockwave TDX V2 if it had an hfc along the way (if no to marginal effect to performance) for late august. I
have a set of ARTs to be put in, and was looking for a way to get rid of the fumes but still go with a full md exhaust, and not just a xyz pipe + random axleback.
Looking forward to the result of this thread!
