R2C Intake - Redesigned
hard to believe id lose hp esp with the filter sitting right in front of the big grill. wish rob had a cai to test in his intake post. but i have the ztube and spacer installed so it should even out plus with the cooler rush of air
^dug up some old threads. according to the test results it showed cai either lowered temps at speeds (45mph) or were the same as stock at idle

then theres this users test which showed that cai didnt lose performance but could have some factors that werent considered

It was probably a injen long tube intake. Short ram style intake are essentially all the same, a long tube intake would be best for power.
can someone take a look at the oem ram air intake piece thats above the radiator thats supposed to be sucking air into the airbox? when i look at it i jus dont see how air is sufficiently getting sucked into the airbox. the hood pretty much closes it, it sits above the radiator way above the grill...plus the opening on the duct is so narrow its like trying to drink from a narrow "L" shaped straw. so idk...
