Are you supposed to add the stock brace to the art pipes?

Are you supposed to add the stock brace to the art pipes?

Im geting some art pipes soon, am i been reading about them.

I have a quick question,

Are you supposed to add the stock brace to the art pipes?

Some say you do and some say you dont....

Depends on which version of ART pipes you have. I believe the latest version includes bracket to attach to the OEM cat brace. The earlier versions did not. I'm not running it with my ART pipes.

It wil be the latest version....

They shouldn't crack if I put the bracket on right?

i have the v1 art pipes and mine slap around when i punch it. i wanna get the brace mounted on mine so they dont crack.

I thought you can reused the Oem brace for the art pipes or no?

Yes, It is connect to the stock brace.

Confused...can you take off the stock brace and weld it up to the ARTs? Is this advised now?
Also..is there a new version with a brace on now?

Ok...I found the answer...new version has brace mount welded on. Cool!

Wait, so has there been an issue with ART pipes cracking? Somewhat concerned now. These things aren't cheap, I wouldn't want them to fail.

Where do you see issue with ARTs cracking? I have seen some posts on 370Z with Gemini flex joints cracking with non braced ARTS. Apparently the ARTs move around some without bracing and this can add stress to Y pipe. Prolly Invidia issue with their flex joint. I have Invidia Gemini..so this is GOOD news for me now.

No. Its to reduce vibration noise.

Its either very audible or not at all.
