ART Pipes and Spacer with stock exhaust?

Anyone have this setup? I'm considering doing it soon. Mainly for sound, but I do not want to change my whole exhaust. How mean does it sound? Also will check lights come on? Or should I get some other pipes for better sound with stock exhaust?

Mainly for sound?! Lol shoot if you just want sound a pop charger and used hfcs will give that to you. Wayyy cheaper too bud. Spacer and arts are normally always just for performance.

I have an injen intake. Came with the car, It's the long polished one lol. I'm not too familiar with this stuff as this is my first car, can you give me some info?

I've seen the short injen's on my friends car, whats the difference? Also, whats a pop charger? Can I still add it with the injen? and lastly, a ztube is basically an intake right? or is that addable also? ALso which HFCs do you prefer? Thanks.

Your definitely fine with your injen and if im not mistaken your injen cai (cold air intake) can be turned into you buddys short ram injen intake just by removing the piece that relocated your filter further down into the bumper. easy job that you can do. and its free. A pop charger is just a different brand name short ram intake known for whistling around 3.5-4k rpms. And yeah bud your correct a ztube is basically and intake pipe. its removes all the air baffles from the stock pipe but since you already have an aftermarket intake your good to go! Berk and FI hfcs are the best in my opinion and also the most expensive. kenetix are under them and are way cheaper by at least 100-150 bucks. So basically your good to go on sound and i would recommend just getting a pair of hfcs if you just want pure sound and they even give you noticable horsepower you can feel too. That way you car sounds good you save some cash and you can feel the extra power and get down to some fun

Thanks a lot man. I love the way he injen sounds at 3.5-4.5 rpms but i'll do some research on a pop charger, As for HFCs i can't wait to get em. Are HFCS basically straight pipes meaning no cats at all? or are they modified cats? If you've had them, do they put your engine lights on?

I would like to do art pipes, xyz pipe with cat.. But that's gonna be over $1,000 so it's probably pointless since the gains won't be that much.. Lol

The straight pipes your talking about are called Test Pipes. You can find the for sale for around 100 bucks in the marketplace on here. And with hfcs yes they arent supposed to throw a Check engine light BUT alot do so theres really no guarantee.

Actually the gains with those are quite reasonable.
