Polishing TB and MREV@

I am about to put a MREV2 and a 5/16 spacer into my 2006 g coupe and was wondering if it would be advantagous to polish the inside of the throttle body and the MREV2 before it put it all back together. Any input?

I would say do NOT eff with the TB's innards.
