Question My Exhaust Dilema...

Thinking about getting an exhaust for my car from the manifolds back, here are the options I am looking at:

Motordyne TDX V2 + ART Pipes. Love my spacer and MREV2 from them. My concern is the price as well as the noise. I have heard some sound clips and this combination sounds good but is pretty loud. Any comments about how this setup is for cruising on the highway/around town and living with everyday?

Extoticspeed R1-T. I've heard sound clips and also like the sound of this exhaust setup. Could just be bad video recordings but ironically the only 2 sound clips I could find of the R1-T with ART pipes did not sound that good so I would probably go with HFC or regular resonated test pipes with this set up. Has anyone heard an R1T with ART pipes in person?

I can get a pretty good deal locally on a new R1-T (about $900 all in) so after shipping and sales tax it would be more than $700 cheaper than a TDX V2. While I have no doubt that the Motordyne is a better exhaust, I'm not sure if the gains in sound and performance are worth almost twice the money.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Motordyne TDX V2 + ART Pipes has my vote. Fab (silencer_0) has that setup and sounds so clean. Its probably one of the best sounding G35s I've heard. Keep it in the family! [5/16,MREV2, Gamma Dual]. Im just missing the ART pipes myself.

Are you running stock cats? If you are, the TDX2+ART pipes setup would be a GREAT enhancement to your car not only for the sweet, sweet sound but the awesome gain in torque on the low-end. HUGE drivability mod for cities. Just something you might want to consider in addition to acoustics! and by the way, if it sounds super loud at first, give it a week to two weeks to let the exhaust break in and it will quiet down a bit!

Or you'll just go a bit deaf, which has the same effect
