Mrev2, Tune, or Transgo kit?
Just the facts and truth....=oD
Tune would help some...the MREV2 would as well...the transgo will help the most
IMO - the Transgo is the most noticeable w/ these mod choices.
I wouldn't tune til i did the lower manifold, and with the MREV2- well, lets just say I wouldn't spend $400 on this.
For $700 you could do the MREV2 and Transgo if you lived by me.

Scary when members that don't know squat make suggestions and offer their opinions!! Just because he has an '06 doesn't mean he has the REVUP motor....he doesn't not with the 5 AT! So he doesn't need MotorDynes MREV2, just saved him $400. Since the tune was made with HFCs switching to ART pipes probably won't make that big a difference to warrant another Osiris tune. Most members I know that installed the Transgo removed them due to the harshness of the shift. Banging shifts around town can get old very quick....Gary
Oh and I already know I have a non revup motor. I just heard and read that an MREV2 with my motor would make gains but not as much as a revup DE.

the video on the first page answers that with the z
Both. At WOT, gears 1-3 will shift much quicker while 4-5 are still improved over stock but aren't nearly as drastic.
If the Transgo kit is installed correctly, it should not "bang" on any gears. My transmission doesn't make any abnormal noises and it has been through some abuse. At light throttle you will barely notice a difference.

Transgo or 3.7FD. If the transgo scares you get the FD. Both these mods you will feel the most out of anything besides FI and good suspension.
I got my 3.7FD w/Vlsd for $350 shipped and installed for $175 with fluid.

I have similar mods. I would not get the tune til you are done with modding the car. I would not get the mrev2..doesn't give much horse power on DE.
other cheap NA mods, bored throttle body, headers (if you do the install yourself)

I support Vegas4dr on this. I upgraded to the 3.5 VLSD rear and he helped install the Trans-Go kit. Very noticeable difference on my '06 sedan. Shifts are firm but smooth under normal daily driving techniques. But give it gas in auto or manual mode and the ride gets mean (in a good way!!!). Tires scream on launch, squawk on 1-2, and chirp on 2-3. The only time the shift is real rough is on a cold startup. If you crank the motor and go straight from park to drive, the shift into drive is a noticeable hard jerk. Switch from park to reverse, let the idle drop for a few seconds then go to drive. It's much smoother.
Increasing the FD ratio will allow you to accelerate through the gears faster. There's two problems with this though:
1) on our model the speedometer will be slightly off (I have a 3.7 and at 80mph the speedometer says I'm doing 90)
2) at highway speed the car will cruise at a higher RPM

I hear that this gives more of a pull in the gears.
I'm not sure about the sedans, I know of 2 coupes that have that problem. I did go to a dealership to see if they could re-calibrate the car so it would be accurate, but they didn't seem very helpful on the idea. However, with the speedometer reading faster I have a less likely chance of getting pulled over for speeding which is why I haven't followed up on it recently.
