Stillen is HEAVIER than stock. I don't really like the sound of it personally, and it
doesn't actually gain 21hp or whatever they claim. It does gain a good amount of
whp (~5-6) compared to some other systems out there though.
Nismo gains like 1whp less than Stillen, but it still has "good" gains over stock.
However, they don't make Nismo directly for the G35, so you need to buy the
350Z Nismo exhaust and get a 6" extender pipe for it to fit onto the G. I'm told
that even with the extender pipe, the tips do not align properly with the rear
bumper (they are still too short?) Nismo is lighter than stock and is supposed
to sound just like stock (except louder).
Injen probably has the same amount of whp gain as Nismo, except it is much
louder and has slight interior droning at 2.5K RPM range. It sounds nice, but
it looks too "aftermarket" for some people (2 giant canister mufflers).

i love my Injen exhaust. i needed to have the crazy MR2 looking muffler effect in my babies a.ss. it's a little loud, but not as loud as rice type's. i'm satisfied with the performance gains too. i don't have the gains on paper, but i killed my friend's coupe with fujitsubo y-pipe/exhaust and nismo intake when i only had the exhaust. i even drove his car and he drove mine, and he won! yes, it comes down to driver, but it was a kill, not a win (feet infront, not inches)!
however, i will be switching to another exhaust when more JDM applications arise. in all my previous cars, i've never put a USDM performance product on, except the fricken battery/accessories.

look into futjitsubo Legalis R exhaust, ive seen it in person on duccatiguy's G, it looks and sounds awsome. The tips are huge and bring out the rear like no other exhaust. search around youll find some pics and video clips of his exhaust. I think thats the setup im goin to go wit

Stillen made (a while back during the shootout) about 1.x (under 2) hp more than Borla, while Nismo made only 3-5 more hp over stock, at least on their tests. Generally, if oyu have a coupe, I would not expect more than 5-7 honest Hp gains at the wheels over stock.
My vote wold be with the Fuji one.

Listen to a couple on this website and see what you like http://www.everything350z.com/exhaust.html. The 350Z sounds is supposed to be dead on the g35. My vote goes to the Nismo. Its very throaty and not very ricey! However, there have been numerous complains about this exhaust, because unless you get the Weldina (which is JDM) and about $2000 then you have to use the exhaust system made for the 350z which is 6 inches shorter, and i guess the tips dont come out far enough so you acutally have to weld 8 inches of extra piping to get a good fit. Its a bit of a hassle, but IMO well worth it! :-D Great luck! And dont worry im sure what ever you choose, it will sound great! Dont forget to post pics and sound clips after your done!

here is the INJEN installed on my car.... Love it, was shooting fiberglass but with no hassle i was sent replacement pipes from Injen, great product, great company! love the intake and their exhaust..... Sound is great, a little louder than some would perfer maybe, but to me its perfect, at idle its noticeable, cruisin at a steady rpm really isnt bad below 4k, not much louder than stock there but when you get on it, its deep and loud , sounds mean....
