Cleaning the throttle body?

Hey guys, another question showcasing my ignorance. I've tried to search this out, but have had little luck.

I experienced the "power loss while driving" issue today. 2005 coupe AT. 75k miles. Cruising along at around 70, and when I hit the gas the car seemingly started to coast. After a few seconds of no power, the car started to respond again (after some small lurches) and everything was back to normal.

What little I can find suggests that I need to clean the throttle body, but this is apparently much more involved than it seems or can potentially be done incorrectly?

If someone could point me towards an appropriate thread, or could give me some advice it'd be appreciated.

Thanks.

Just search throttle body cleaning, there are loads. Problems lie with careless cleaning and needing to perform the relearn afterwards.
