Guys, he's not cutting anything up. He's making a straight pipe module to swap in place of the TDX V2 resonator module.

Basically he would need a reverse Y made for that section. OP ask Tony if he can fab you up one. Maybe he can make that as a module for the TDX resonated and non resonated.

Hmm, not sure if removing the center resonator would even be worth it for general public?

OP, at WOT, it's going to be crazy loud IMO, though the rear helmholtz will help.

I also guess it wouldn't be worth MD's while to custom fab once piece, i'm thinking from an expense angle here.

Some people like loud. MD has a straight module I had one when I had the VQ exhaust with xyz pipe.

Does the TDX even have modules you can change out? I know the original shockwave you can.

I meant for general public uses, people who like very loud are far fewer.

They have a straight module on the XYZ and the original shockwave.

The TDX V2 puts the 'X' resonator in place of that, straight on the y-pipe, then it's straight pipes to the tips, with Helmholtz side resonators at the end.

There is a HFC/resonator module that will fit between the 'X' resonator and the axle back section.

I think you can only put on the HFC module on the V1 shockwave.

You can only use the XYZ modules with the V1, correct.

The V2 has it's own modules, just not on the website at the moment.

yea sorry for slacking on the pics/ video. Ive had it installed on the car for a couple weeks now as soon as i have some free time this weekend I will post some. Sounds great with the new pipe installed. its only a TINY bit raspy if i shift from 1-2 or 2-3 at 4.5k-5.5k about while still accelerating. other than that it sounds like the normal TDX V2 just on steroids. didnt think it was possible to fall in love with the sounds of a G anymore.

How's the drone? Without the muffler there should be loads of it.

the only drone i have noticed is if i am barely pushing on the accelerator. loudest if your having to go up a slight hill at about 45-55 and trying to maintain the same speed but I kind of like it so no issue for me.

to give an idea to how loud it is watch this
. my buddys supercharged mustang GT loud mouth exhaust and no muffler. after installing my muffler delete pipe it is just as loud as his car at WOT (to the point if were side by side and floor it with windows down it actually hurts your ears) the idle has a nice deep rumble to it, almost sounds like its cammed but still not annoyingly loud or anything. ill try and have some pics and video up by sunday this weekend.

Now i kind of understand why you wanted the delete, auto's run differently under normal driving, so to get the noise you want, it was probably a good move.
I can hear the extra hiss in there for sure, but it doesn't sound too bad at all, it's what you wanted, right?

Any pics of the mod as well? Vid is fine i think, for what it's worth, maybe a standing rev, but you don't have the resonated version of that to compare. It's a shame what cameras mic's do to the sound
