Can anyone please provide a sound clip of their exhaust with ART pipes and stock exhaust?
I'm interested in purchasing some but hesitant of the sound it will give with stock. Thank you

 

What is it you're expecting, or wanting from this?

I have a 350z with ART pipes and the MD Y pipe as well (XYZ)

The note is good and improved over stock, the volume is barely increased over stock, the power increase is nice

 

When I had my ART Pipes V2 on stock exhaust (HR OEM Y-Pipe) and no supercharger, I got rasp that I wasn't expecting after reading on it. The rasp wasn't horrible but def. present. When I added the HKS True Dual after that, it went away.

Another member from the local team also had the same situation.

 

You can have some rasp with the stock exhaust, i believe it's the smaller pipe diameter, use the XYZ pipe with resonator to remove.

 

I had rasp when I was running my HR Y pipe and ART pipes. The diameter of the Art pipes is larger than that of the HR Y pipe. That causes a ton of turbulence and therefore rasp. When I replaced the HR with a XYZ Y pipe, the rasp then moved further back since the XYZ/ART combo was flowing well until it hit the mid pipe. But it sounds like the small (much much less rasp than HR Y/ART combo) amount of rasp may be coming from the muffler. If you need another sound clip, I can provide one. Lmk.

If you don't like the rasp with the stock y-back back, which was very little for me and only at one point in the rev range when hard on the gas, then use the resonator module, that removed my remaining rasp.
