How long does it take when ordering from Intense Motorsports? Thanks

This Z air duct was installed on Stillen's Supercharged G35 Coupe and looked good. It fits both the G35 Sedan and the Coupe as the engine bays are essentially identical .

I ordered this Z air duct and a higher dead petal from Jayson at parts@nissanwholesaleparts.com.

Jayson's the internet parts manager and is real savy. He went out of his way to help me out and the price was right.
I believe he should be able to help out on some aftermarket performance parts including NISMO.

Jayson's also an Nissan-Infiniti enthusiast and is involved with the nicoclub.com website. He talks our language.

 

When the 350Z duct is coupled with the Stillen Hi-Flow intake, the sound is subtle, until you get on the gas. The sound then changes to a unique howl/growl that sounds like a real sports car should. I don't know if much HP is gained, but will Dyno the car this week after my HKS exhaust arrives.

sounds good, gonna look forward to the dyno......but i really doubt you will see much gain, if anything 2-3HP imo

I agree Rambo, I would not expect no more than a 3HP increase. At least it looks and sounds different. Should be interesting to see the look on the Infinity service manager's face when he sees that...[img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]

Thanks for the tip. I ordered the Z duct (PN16576-CD000, DUCT ASSY) from Jason this morning. Got an awesome price. You're right, he's a great guy. I figure the intake with that change will be much less restrictive than it is now on my coupe 6MT. As listed in my other posts I've also put on a Dual Exhaust, and I'm waiting for my grounding kit.

Please explain why you think the ECU will offset the colder air increase? The cold air is just going to cause better combustion, the ECU is not programmed to keep you at the HP rating from the factory.
