So a REVUP engine has a different intake box than a NON-REVUP?

 

Yes.

 

I threw a takeda SR intake in my 05 about a year or so ago. as people have already mentioned your not looking for/ going to feel any difference in the engine when adding an intake, but the difference in sound between the stock intake and after the install was awesome. more growl in the exhaust and the induction sounds good in the motor when you rev it a little. Easy install, the dry-clean filter is real nice too b/c you can just blow it out with an air compressor.
