YPipe with Stock Exhaust system?

Quick question out there. The Y Pipe looks to be a good pick up for the G. The stock pipe looks very restrictive and for a few hundred dollars, it is proven HP increase. Anyways. I understand that the tail end of theY Pipe is 3" in diameter, vs. the 2 1/2 " diameter on the stock mid pipe. How bad is it to bolt on this Y Pipe to your stock pipes? If I do end up getting the Y Pipe, should I buy the 3"-21/2" reducer?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any feedback that would be negative for the car, if any. THanks

After I installed my UT Ypipe (3" outlet), I experienced an annoying tinny / raspy sound at 1800 - 2000 rpms. But after I installed my Fujitsubo it went away.

if you're keeping your stock muffler, i'd sport a reducer pipe. better/ease of flow is much better in all areas.

Agreed. Otherwise get a 3" Y-pipe back system to match.
