Mrev2, Extra Nuts?

Hey guys,

I just installed my mrev2 on my revup G, and when I was all done I had 2 extra nuts. I checked most everything on the outside and it looks good. As far as I can remember, only the 2 guide pins used nuts, everything else was a bolt.

Any thoughts on which they might be?

Cur runs great, started right up like OEM, can't hear any leaks and idle is steady. Some noticeable torque bump right off the bat starting from around 2.5k.

There's 4 guide pins to start with. 2 that stay in place helping the lower plenum line up and two that you replace with bolts that line up the mrev to spacer/upper plenum. Take a look at the install manual, # 7 & 8 on the lower plenum torque sequence still use nuts, if they've got them you're fine.

Just found 2 more. Losing my faith in my ability to put things back together. I don't remember anything essential using nuts though ?

How can you tell if your plenum was leaking? Mine sounds good and idle is perfect, but now im a little concerned.

One last question guys. I've noticed my car now makes a slight whistle sound when I shift, or come off throttle hard. Is this normal for an mrev2?

What RPM range are you at when this happens? Mine has a bit of a whistle but nothing extraordinary

It's not particularly loud. If i shift around 4k, i can definitely hear it though. Wasn't sure if that was a function of more flow. The car definitely makes a ton more torque

You should be fine then in the higher rpm. If it was a lower rpm then I would guess something was off
