So I recently got an exhaust system, (dynomaxx)whatever that is. But after having it for about 2 weeks ive noticed some type of grey smoke coming out of the tips when I rev it. I also noticed that it sounds way different than when I first got the exhast. Is there something wrong with my car?

moisture?
The car isn't heating up if that's what you mean, and if your talking about weather.. than yeahh it was cold and now kinda humid. I touched the tailpipes and black dust got on my finger? The gas mileage went down tooOriginally Posted by TORETTO

I should take it to the muffler shop again then?Originally Posted by TORETTO
if the gas is strong, there might be a leak in your exhaust.

if possible, check that everything is tight yourself.
either way, if something wasn't tight. it wouldn't cause grey smoke to come out of the exhaust.
unless that smoke was condensation in the first place, and nothing to worry about.

by the way, does this exhaust come with test pipes. if you're not sure, post a picture of the setup.

All the flanges (sections where two pipes meet), check if any bolts are loose or missing.

If the setup came with test pipes or high flow cats, that could explain the smell. Which would be normal for test pipes/HFC. (test pipes having a lot stronger smell)
But it wouldn't explain the grey smoke. Which at this point, I'm assuming to be just condensation.
You could check your oil cap and see if it's a milky substance or check your coolant level to see if you're burning any.

Its a true dual, and I didn't see any bolts loose.Originally Posted by TORETTO

the smoke is probably just condensation, unless you can take a video
