I received my art pipes in only 3 days from nissan race shop (GOOD SERVICE). All the welds and the finish looked like the pictures from motordyne, great quality. The install took about an hour at a local shop. When i started it up i could tell a difference (MAYBE DEEPER) in the tone a little, but a lot less drone idling.

SOUND: Driving with the windows down the sound has been amplified no doubt, you really can tell after about 3K RPM, its louder but only when i drive aggressively which is perfect for me. There might be some rasp i cant tell just yet, but that could be because they arent broken in yet. 9/10

PERFORMANCE: Im actually getting better fuel efficiency by 2-3 MPG on the highway. Gains are noticeably great down low and good up high.(Butt Dyno) 9.8/10

FITMENT:Fitment was good, only issue was the lower tabs, we just simply bent them in so the lower bracket could fit with out too much stress, 9.5/10

OVERALL: In the end im very happy with them, sounds good,performs great and it wasnt too much of a hassle to get installed.

I''ll be adding an exhaust clip later on, currently im using a Invida N1, which is loud.

 

if there is rasp, most likely it is caused by the cat back design... the ART have no rasp when combined with the tdx2 or stock exhaust, from what ive heard and seen

 

basically, the less/smaller resonators your exhaust has, the better chance for rasp you have(im assuming pipe wall thickness also contributes as a factor)

 

Hopefully these will hold up...There have been issues with them cracking..

 

Motordyne makes the best products for our Infiniti's and the only down side to ART pipes is the stinky exhaust. I had mine on for a whole week, seven days of not being able to keep my windows rolled down. Fast Intentions HFCs took care of the smell and I still have that sweet sound of my HKS dual system with it's Magnflow x-pipe blending the pulses from each bank!

Theres only a slight hint of rasp. its only maybe a half second long in the low-mid range, but im not blaming the art pipes for rasp, im guessing its the exhaust's fault as well!

 

Honestly the smell isnt bad really at all, i only notice when im in my garage with the windows down, ive smelt way worse exhaust set ups!

 

Ehh ive read like every review on g35driver and my350z, i dont remember hearing about that, at least not often
