Intake & Exhaust Questions and info regarding various aftermatket exhaust systems for the G35 (Headers,Y-Pipes, and Cat-Back Systems)

Need Plenum advise!!

Need Plenum advise!!

What would be better to polish or to chrome my plenum? Thanks

Chrome would shine better and is more durable but to chrome it, you would need to polish it first to smooth out the bumpy finish which means that by the time your plenum is done, it would have cost you about 4-5x more than just a polished plenum.

I'm biased because I have a chromed plenum, but I bought it dirt cheap here a few years ago in the Marketplace. Sean's right, it really outshines a polished plenum but if you were to have it done it would be hella expensive. I've never seen another chromed one on here or in person but I know they exist.
