Motordyne ShockWave TDX2 + XYZ resonated y pipes

Does anyone run that settup on here?
Im really close to purchasing a aftermarket exhaust and I decided to go with motordyne, I read some reviews that people replace the original y pipe from the exhaust with the xyz pipe, does that really make a difference in gains/sounds?

Does it really? I feel stupid now LOL, cause I was reading on some other forum some guy apparently bought the TDX2 and then got the xyz pipe to replace the y pipe that came with the exhaust..

Ya, I pretty sure if you use the resonator you would have to run a single exhaust/stock exhaust instead dual that the TDX is.

So if I get the TDX design I cant add anything to it and just leave it as is?
But if I get the dual setup I can add artpipes / xyz resonator?

Depends on if you like the smell of gas fumes.
Your best bet is to ride with someone who has art pipes to see if the smell bugs u or not.

You can always go with high flow cats. They free up the exhaust considerably over oem cats without the gas smell.
Tony from Motordyne can answer any of your ques, really cool guy.
