Just get a CD with a looping track of a racecars exhaust and play it thru your stereo really loud.

Driver has resident clowns...sorry!

Put either one of these on your Christmas wish list, hopefully someone will take notice...(1) Motordyne (2) HKS There isn't a third choice, nothing else is worth installing...Gary

Thumbs up Hope this helps

Gary, that advice is soooooooo invalid. There are many exhaust systems on the market that are very good. Some more expensive than others. I have an exoticspeed exhaust on my coupe which cost just a few hundred dollars less than a motordyne. Motordyne cost around $1600 exoticspeed $1300, both are catback system, and the HKS is $700 more than the exoticspeed.

The exoticspeed sounds great and performance gains are noticed. The best advice I can give you is do what I did. Do a lot of research for the exhaust YOU want and what fits your budget. Also keep looking in the private classified section of this forum. I was able to find my exoticspeed catback exhaust in excellent shape for $600.

Any exhaust system you put on your car will give you some gains (some more than others) due to them being less restrictive than the factory exhaust. Remember the search button is your friend and if that doesn't work do a search on google for what you want. If you don't do a search before asking, I hope you have a flame retardant suit because you are sure to get flamed. Hope this helps. Peace and Blessings. Brooks out. This is how I feel about my exoticspeed catback exhaust system.

i guess the search bottom is broken. cheap is not the way to go on these cars. You now drive a higher class "civic" so you have to pay more to play.

Mr. B I believe I'm a better judge of exhaust systems and most anyone since I'm on my 5th system. Lucky for me 2 were sponsored which I immediately sold for better systems due to poor (crap) quality. Had I been aware of the restriction in my HKS system in '07 (manufacture defect) I would have installed Motordynes dual cat back instead. Sure there are exhaust systems that cost less but the sound/performance/quality are worth the extra $$! Any time you buy a y-back system you aren't getting your $$ worth. Or if you buy a knockoff just the poor quality alone are worth passing on these systems...they won't last! Having installed Magnaflows x-pipe in my HKS system not only removed the defect but improved the entire exhaust. My choices for exhaust remains the same Motordyne or HKS for performance/sound and quality!
