Do you need an ECU re flash with furookie

i need some help guys I can't seem to find anything on having to tune your car when you get a 3.5" furookie intake. I recently purchased it from outcastgarage and everything was great, but for some reason my car idles really rough and when I drive it a bit around 2k rpm I can feel the loss in power or well the car jerks like its hyperventilating or something. The rpm idles around 500 rpm but shoots anywhere between 100-1200 rpm. There's no vaccine leaks and my maf sensor is fine. Everything worked fine when I dropped my z tube and everything back in, but as soon as I swap it back to the furookie everything gets messed up. Is this happening because I need a tune? Is there any way I can fix the problem without a tune since 500$ for an Osiris tune isn't worth it at the moment since I don't have all my bolt ins yet.

I assume the "service engine soon" light does not come on after putting on the furookie.
Not sure if resetting the ecu will help but you can try these steps to do it.

1. Ignition "ON", count to 3.
2. Depress/Release pedal 5 times...hard and fast.
3. Count to 10 and fully depress pedal
4. Count to 12 (SES should be blinking), release pedal
5. Count to 10, depress pedal
6. Count to 10, release pedal.
7. Turn off ignition, then start engine

Yea I already reset my ECU did tb relearn and even tried doing something I saw on the forum with a similar problem by swapping out my stock intake to the furookie without removing the battery. Pretty much at a loss at this point. Also I don't have a 75mm NWP tb it's just the stock tb if that matter

I had a similar issue with my Fujita intake a while ago, my cone filter was to close to the maf sensor so I pushed it down a far as possible into the left well. Exhaust sounded better and SLICK was more responsive. No reset or tune required, location of the filter was cutting off air flow...Gary
