Got my exhaust on today.
Here is a quick sound clip of what it sounds like now.

I got fast intentions cats.
They build them per order so I have to wait 3 weeks for mine to get built.
I got the exhaust earlier so I figured I'll just put it and and wait for cats.

my entire reason for exhaust were the cats. However now I'm scared that with cats it might be too loud

I already got "yelled at" by two neighbors

Ya gotta learn to be quiet in the neighborhood unless you don't care what the neighbors think or say! I have the loudest ride on my street and never drive over 5 mph unlike my tire burning fool neighbors. Only time they hear SLICK is when she warms up in the garage. HFC might make your exhaust loud, just keep the revs down around the law dogs...Gary

it's actually louder at low rpm at normal driving than high rpm.

And I was in my brothers neighborhood making the noise

ha I wouldn't worry about that too much. My hks+art pipes which is notorious for being "loud" isn't all that bad kept under 3k Rpm

we'll see.

I'm suppose to get them in the beginning of march. I'll throw the G on the lift and put those suckers on, we shall see how much more louder it'll get.

My wife so far likes it, she drives the car daily.

good thing is that the car feels new all over again after 10 years owning it.

FWIW when I had my exoticspeed it was slightly louder with my Crawford cats on as opposed to my stock ones. The main difference was the deepness in the note. I don't think it'll irritate any more neighbors. Congrats on the exhaust! If I didn't want a Motordyne tdx2, I would have definitely kept the Exoticspeed.

Do you already have a TDX2 or you just looking for one?

I have the same exhaust and I've been loving it for 2 years now. I love how it sounds on start up, at idle, and under load. At WOT I hear my intake more than my exhaust and when the tach reaches 4k rpm I can feel an extra kick. Everyone that hears my coupe loves it and it doesn't bother my neighbors. I'm thinking about getting hfc's and headers but wondering if it'll be worth it. A lot of people swear by motordyne and yes their system sounds good but, after listening to my exoticspeed, I can't complain one bit. Sometimes I turn off my radio just so I can enjoy the sound of my exhaust and listening to it idle is music to my ears.

Being that my coupe is also my daily driver I get to enjoy it everyday. Seeing as how your wife loves it that should tell you, you made a good decision. Women usually could care less about car mods.

It's funny that you mentioned music.

I find my self not even turning on the stereo since I put on the exhaust. I need to get a new one since mine been broken for some time, but now I don't think I'll need one for a while, at least till I get tired of my exhaust, but then my cats are coming in march so it'll be an entirely new exhaust note all over again.

My brothers 5 year old kid jumps up and down from excitement when he hears it. He always asks me to rev the car. That's him screaming in the background on the video.
