Exhaust help

So im new to modding cars and recently just got megan racing v2 test pipes installed. I hear a metal ringing at idle sometimes and metal clunkin at anything over half throttle. I want to replace to y pipe because thats what a mechanic friend at infiniti told me to do. I want to get an x pipe instead ( part #11386) but i wanted to know if this will bolt right up, megan racing is 2.5" outlet and this is 2.5" inlet so im guessin so, just wanna be sure. And if i have test pipes and y pipes replaced what is next in the exhaust system to be replaced?

tried searching this for an hour or 2 no concrete answers thought, any input will help tysm for helping a noob

The magnaflow 11386 is just a muffler. Cut and weld is required for installation.

correct me if im wrong but if you are adding an x pipe, wouldnt that mean you are going true dual exhaust? x pipe shouldnt bolt up to the stock exhaust
