G35 test pipes !!

So please don't bash me for this, i know it's cheap and eBay whatever whatever but they have test pipes for 85$ I heard the welds are pretty strong was going to order them with the bung o2 spacers how hard is it to install test pipes how do you think it will sound with a muffler delete looking for just a bit more noise but want it to be a bit clear also thanks!!

Lol, eBay items are mostly grabage. The fitment on those things will be worse quality than the welds on them. If you need cheap TP's, go with some resonated Megans. More pricey than $85, but at least they'll fit, and they won't be as raspy because they're resonated. Food for thought.

You asked, you received. Not sure how your time was wasted or that the help was un-needed?

If I liked raspy, I'd just go listen to a landscaper's lawnmower for a bit.

Or you could just listen to your exhaust with those test pipes installed. They WILL cause rasp. Save up, pay the ridiculous amount for a good exhaust system. I suggest Motordyne full catback with art test pipes, thats on my list. Dunno how long you've had your G, but if something for it is cheap, its garbage. Like eBay headlights.

Here's the deal, most of the restriction is in the factory cats when they're replaced with test/art pipes the OE exhaust isn't designed to handle the extra volume. Even with muffler delete you'll have ugly rasp. Watch our Marketplace under Private Classified for a aftermarket exhaust then you can install test pipes and it will sound cool. Avoid buying anything from ebay unless it's from a known company...Nissan or Infiniti.
