Buzzing/rattling after installing Art Pipes

Thought maybe it was an isolated incident until someone else in our local Nissan/Infiniti group got Art Pipes as well. 1st gear especially, sometimes 2nd gear too, close to full throttle and you can hear a rattle/buzz from the Art Pipe on the driver's side. Part throttle or all the way on it, not really. I put a rubber biscuit (PCV grommet to be exact) in between the tab on the resonator on the driver's side and the mounting bracket where it attaches. Definitely seemed to help quiet it down a lot but its not 100% eliminated.

Today, another guy in our group was searching for the bracket because he was having the same issue. He first got just downpipes and didn't need it so he tossed it out. But he has the same rattle/buzz I've been having and his resonators aren't even attached to anything so maybe the bracket itself isn't the issue?

Anyone else run across this? Were you able to eliminate the rattle? Love the Art Pipes otherwise, definitely noticed the improvement in power and gained 1.5-2 mpg improvement in freeway mileage too.

Cool

I have a 2012 EX35, added Z1 Motorsports Headers and ART pipes. The drivers side had a buzzing/tapping sound from 2K to 4K RPM. It only happened while in gear, park or neutral never happened. It ended up being a bolt for the heat shield above the cats.
Just took a Sawzall to fix the problem.

The bolt that was supposed to be cut away was. It's just weird how its at almost full throttle but not when I'm all the way on it. Maybe just how the resonators are responding to the exhaust flow?

You're going to have to post some sound clips before this can properly be diagnosed...Cold start, give it some good revs, then a drive by or two or five will totally help solve this. Not really. Just post some clips to satisfy my need of hearing your setup if anything thanks in advance...

I have the same issue on my 06'x, I have a Stillen Gen II exhaust no rattle with exhaust, this summer I just installed Berks resonated test pipes, constant rattle at idle , park and full throttle. If i push on the exhaust with my foot while car is parked it goes away. The issue here is the same as you all's. So the question is how do we remedy this..?

Get the car up on a lift, or jack stands, and get under it to locate the sound. This will lead you to the source, should be a simple issue to fix I would think.

As with suspension noises, exhaust rattles can't be fixed sitting in your drivers seat! Get your G on a rack while getting an oil change, check clearance around the ART pipes and surrounding suspension. Or a muffler shop could easily locate what's causing the noise you describe...might cost you $20=

Still haven't figured out mine. No sound at idle or moderate throttle. Just hard throttle at low rpm, then it clears up around 2500 rpm.
