Best all around exhaust?

OK, there are so many opinions here. I want a final word. What is the best exhaust if I want to retain a similar sound as stock, but louder? And which one will yield the best performance increases without any other engine mods except maybe a z-tube? Thanks in advance everyone!!!!!!!

stillen got the most HP gain, but it's the heaviest and loud too.
fujitsubo got similar performance compare to nismo, not too loud. sounds like stock but deeper.

Also, can anyone suggest a local shop in SoCal that sells and installs the exhausts? Can the exhaust systems be installed at home? Bolt on? Thanks again

Street Image in Baldwin Park...Not only will they install it, but they will make sure you're taken care of if anything else is wrong with the install afterwards.

^ I 2nd that. StreetImage installed my DC Headers/Fuji & Y-Pipe setup. They did a great job at a really good price.

Aaaahh... the exhaust debate...
Here's my crusty two cents...
Here's the info that i have gathered and my viewpoints.
There's three tiers of exhaust when it comes to noise.

TIER 1 (WOW! LOUD!!!)
INJEN
STILLEN
RS*R (without Silencers)

TIER 2 (LOUDER THAN STOCK)
NISMO
HKS HI-POWER TITANIUM
GREDDY EVO2

TIER 3 (SIMILAR TO STOCK)
FUJITSUBO (DEEPER TONE)

I was VERY close to pulling the trigger on the FUJI setup.
Then... i heard the HKS. DEEP tone plus Growl. Going thru tunnels, the sound is just plain awesome. Meant to be heard when YOU want it. (at WOT) When you're cruising, it's quiet. No drone.

Basically, if you have heard the FUJI but thought it was maybe a little TOO quiet, the HKS is the perfect exhaust for you. That's why i have it on my G.

Looks pretty damn nice too. Blue tips.

how bout a shop in NorCal that can do it? soemthign like a northern version of Dynamic Autosports or Street Image. Anyone know where to go? The Infiniti dealer says they sell and install Stillen, but I think I will go with either HKS or fujitsubo, whichever has more 'tone' to the sound. Plus, they charge 1450 for the Stillen parts

All exhaust mentioned are very good. Went with HKS TI just because not too many G's and Z's have them. Not yet anyways. Quiet at idle and at highway cruising speed. Sounds deep and aggressive when you take-off.

The more and more I hear about the HKS system, the more I want it!!!!!

Can the HKS Hi-Power TI exhaust be installed by yourself? I mean, is it just a bolt on part? I am pretty good around the mechanical department when it comes to mods and repairs and just would hate to spend the money for someone to just bolt it up there.

Also, does the stock system unbolt easy?

Thanks everyone
