Does anybody have any idea how much the G35 coupe Stillen exhaust weighs? I've heard it's more heavy than stock (but also you get power gains). I tried to do a forum search but I couldn't find it, and it's not listed on any vendor sites.

 

On "nicoclub" a member weighed the Stillen true dual at 50lbs, and if thats true it is a little heavier than stock. I purchased the Stillen system for my car and love it, but everybody loves their exhaust, lol. My deciding factor wasn't the weight though, I wanted something that when looking at it looked stock, and didn't change the exhaust note too much.

Well it's probably a bit louder lol

 

a little louder, deeper in sound. also sounds great when you get in the higher rpm range.

If it's Stillen's actual cat-back exhaust and not their wimpy y-back system it's a great exhaust...made by Magnflow! I was sponsored the Stillen y-back system, ran it for a week before I ordered the HKS cat back system and sold it!

sorry philbegas, im in los angeles. and even so, i recently added resonated hfc, so the exhaust note is different than it used to be with just the Stillen catback. there are a ton of videos on youtube that will give you a good idea of what the Stillen exhaust and others sound like, as well as a thread with exhaust videos.

 

Did you get the fast intentions resonated HFCs?

Lolz. It sucks that they cost like $200 more than Kinetix, AAM, ISR, and Z1. Do you think they're worth it? I know the resonated parts mean that they're going to be better for a DD but it's hard to find opinions on some of the others.

 

I did get Fast Intentions RHFC, i was actually deciding between crawford and fast intentions, but Gary swayed me towards fast intentions. thanks Gary

 

There aren't any clips of your combination on youtube. Any chance you feel like posting it. FI HFCs and stillen dual exhaust is a combination I would be down to get.

No rush man, I appreciate it though. There's somebody near me selling a used Stillen for like 800 and it seems like a pretty good deal since it's like 1200 new

Also, after reading more and more I think I'm down to basically either Kinetix or FI Resonated for the HFCs. Basically it's going to come down to "Do I want to pay like $250 more for the resonation" lol. I emailed Tony from FI to ask if they cut a deal if I buy FI HFCs AND a catback exhaust from them, because $1970 is pretty steep compared to other similar quality/gain set-ups.
