My fabricobbled exhaust
My fabricobbled exhaust 05 Sedan
Hey guys, I wanted to share what I put together to get more of that amazing VQ sound. I picked up a Megan racing midpipe along with a Y pipe for a good price, and mated it with the stock muffler. Definitely sounded better, but wasn't enough. So, I added an electric cutout I picked up from ebay and DAMN it sounds so good! Due to how the cutout is routed, we had to add a little bit of a downpipe to keep it from going straight into the other exhaust pipe. Here's a few photos I took after my buddy welded it up for me

Don't be too rough about the welds, I was out of gas so we used some stainless flux core welding wire which did the job quite well. I did a bit of grinding to take off most of the warts, but after all it's an exhaust and definitely not a show car so I got lazy
Thanks for catching that Scorpi0

I added the photos so they are visible without having to click on a link. It does have a bit of drone with the windows up and ac on, but windows down the drone is minimal, and is totally gone when its closed and going through the stock muffler. This is a worthwhile mod for those with a sedan on a budget as its much cheaper than buying a pre-made one. I'm in it for less than 300 bucks
