Looking for g35 steering ujoint replacement??!!

Now I know this is gonna be like a oh your not fixing it proper but my headers rub the ujoint a bit not alot as I was able to adjust it a little but its enough to annoy me. I've seen this and though it might rub even more or might have enough wiggle room it maybe it won't rub. https://store.partsshopmax.com/shop/SSE.html#panel-product-description

Now I know thats probably used for the trucks that lift the vehicle up some and they need an extention but it interested me and also rack relocation also interests me as I do want to add a gk tech angle kit down the road. Does anyone know if you can add this extender and it not rub the headers

any ideas maybe there are universal u jlints that drifters have used for exhaust clearance issues or something similar. If not ill just take the header out for the 3rd time lol im just tired of bleeding the coolant system each time 🤣

Typically things like that you just clearance the header to make it not rub the steering shaft. Just use a sharpie and mark it out well, body/fender flatteners look better overall but a peen hammer is quick...

Ball peen hammer hmm??

Thats not a bad idea for the longest since I'm too lazy to take the header off again id use extentions to hit with a smaller sledge hammer and see if I can get the surface just enough clearance ill try a ball peen and a chisel to see if I can get some clearance if that doesn't work the header is coming off to get hit again and go back in smooth.

You might even be able to just put a pry bar in between the header and steering shaft and just pry a little to put a little flat spot on the metal.

The sad part

I tried that lol the stainless ether needs to be heated or beat like a **** I can get the pry bar in between and it keeps the shaft away only for a few turns then itll rub again ill try with a long chisel if thats doesn't work take the hoe out again
