Just added STILLEN CATBACK. Well worth it!

I just put on the STILLEN stainless catback exaust on my 03 sedan (Auto).

I sould have done this earlier. My wife has a coupe and now it seems quiet.

STILLEN's claim of a 20-23 hp increase at the wheels is no joke. My G-Timer readings went from 0-60 times of 6.2ish to below 6 every time, with a best of 5.8.
I also then added the STILLEN Hi-Flow intake, which took the times down to close to what my wifes coupe runs.

I'm installing the sway bars tonight. Can't wait.

Glad you like it. The Stillen exhaust gets a bad rap on here sometimes. I've had mine for almost a year and a half and it looks, sounds, and performs great. Just like the day I installed it.

The only thing I see as a negative, would be that it's so loud that the interior seems to have vibrations/buzzing. The looks I get when I start it up are worth it.
Thanks.
I wish I knew how to attach pictures, I'd show the after shots.

Yes. Thanks. Your right, I suppose it looks the same on every car. Here are some different angles anyway. I had some issues uploading the last set.

It looks very nice and I'm sure it sounds mean!!!

Does stillen offer just the muffler? or do you have to buy the complete system?

I figure the muffler itself has to give you better performance and sound. In your case as you know what makes it really load is the straight mid pipe.

Where did you get it?

Thanks.

I'm sure they offer just the tail pipe section. I purchased all of the STILLEN parts straight from the website. www.stillen.com
If tou call them, the sales people are very technical. It's not like when I used to have to deal with NEUSPEED. Stillen knows what they are talking about.
Before I installed the STILLEN setup, I had a BLITZ tailpipe section. I Called it the "Can". You could fit a small dog in there. It improved the sound and performance a little, but nothing like the catback system. STILLEN also sells the BLITZ rear section. The problem with the "Can" was that it hung much lower because of it's size and would often scrape when encountering a steeper area.

96740 out.

Thanks for the info. As I'm sure you researched different set ups...what do you think of the BORLA CATBACK?

Do you know where I can get a sound bite of your set up?

Thanks.
