RS*R Exhaust for the G

Was just wondering if anyone has the exhaust made by RS*R or if they have opinions about it performance and sound wise. If you guys/gals don't think it's good what is the best out there for the money, performance and sound? I don't want my G sounding like a riced out civic. (If ya know what i mean) Thanks in advance for the input!

I had the RS*R on my 04 6sp Coupe, RIP. Extremely LOUD! Silencers help though, but i never used them. Be prepared to be pulled over by cops, that's all I have to say.

On my 05 6sp coupe, i'm going with the new HKS system.

Well there are two types of RS*R exhausts I have come across. The black one and the shiny one (sorry don't know their real model names). The black one is very quiet and stealthy, while the shiny one is loud as all hell. Unfortunately I don't think they make either for our car...

I was checking out the sponsor site intense motorsports and it had one for our car. I wasn't aware there were two though....I stumbled on the Greddy exhaust as well...That seems to be more of a trusted name in the import scene

Somewhere on the net you can hear the system on the 350Z, I do not understand where the opinion's that it sound's like rice are comming from. I really like the sound of the RSR that I heard, can't say my ears feel it's rice at all, and I get the pleasure of hearing a lot bad exhaust noise (what some would call ricer) daily. Those that feel it sound's like rice, what do you think of how the Injen system sounds like?

There's no way the G w/ RS*R exhaust will sound like a Civic. It's going to be LOUD and DEEEEEP. Very aggressive sounding and not for the faint of heart.

B/c i saw a car exactly like yours as i was stuck in traffic on the way home from work and i gave the thumbs up! Just wondering....

Hi,

The RS*R does not sound like a civic or ricey. But it is loud and deep and if that is the type of sound you like then RS*R is your exhaust and you can always put on the silencers if it gets out of hand. I have the RS*R exhaust and its loud but nice as well. Everyone has their own opinion on everything so go with what you like.

I had the Kinetix Racing Resonated Race Pipes, Japtrix Y-Pipe, and the RS*R exhaust. Ridiculously loud. Souded so awesome, real racey and mean. Not for the average person.

Wish I would have had some pics and vids of the 04, but I think i'll have to do some pics and vids on the 05 after I get it broken in, and some mods ordered.

Absoultely no high pitched tone at ALL...very deep sounding, I will bet money on it. I had the Pro-1 exhaust on mine which is exact same design and sound.

Wasn't me in Houston last week...might have been g35thanh who has an IP coupe, Impul rear spoiler, and gold Volks.
