There have been many instances with the cells inside collpasing. I think the avg time was 7500 mi.

I don't have any experience with the Random Technology, but I noticed they cost more than Crawford. I hadn't heard anything about them, and Crawford has a good reputation, so that's what made my mind up.

I've heard the Random Technology produces a raspy sound unlike Crawford or Kinetix.

The RT Cats sound fine and do help with power. However, the insides do collapse. Both of mine did and they have been replaced with Crawfords.

mine collapsed twice, first time it was the driver side..second time it was both. I live close to where random technologies is based and went to their shop. They try to act as if there is a problem with the car instead of their product. I highly recommend crawford or kinetix.

I've heard about them collapsing to. I know someone who changed them out for Crawford and is much happier. I know someone else who has them with the Borla exhaust and it sounds good.

Thanks, I was REALLY close to buying the RT cats. Think I'll be doing the Kinetix plenum and cats at the same time.

Cary, if I were you, I'd save some money and go with the Kinetix cat and the Motordyne spacer...the gains are the same and the dif in price will help pay for your rims! ...the idea is to get more air to the front two cylinders. Both the spacer and plenum accomplish this...and depending on what spacer you go with (size), you might be able to keep you engine cover on at meets and events where perfromance isn't an issue.

Thanks Randy. I like that idea...same hp gains for a lot less money. Are you using this spacer?
