While ordering a greddy evo exaust yesterday from Steve Millen, i asked my sales guy if he had any info on new stuff... he mentioned headers that were suposed to be for a lack of a better word, insane. He claimed horsepower gains were around 20, and torque was 25+ foot pounds.. does this sound rite to u guys? i mean he swore it...

 

well i hope so cuz that would be amazing

 

i'm not one bit, the coupe has those numbers over us with proably header and exahust differences and proably ecu

 

that sounds like some tough ****.....I haven't heard anything yet....

Headers,alone,generally don't add too much in the way of noise. Did I misunderstand?

I believe the G35, as with most new cars, has primary cats.

Headers usually do away with the primary cats. That and the improved exhaust gas flow associated with the headers could result in these power gains.

 

As far as cost goes,, he did say it was probably going to be expensice,,, guys call stillen ask them, im just going by wat there sales rep told me... i hope its true... our cars will fly with that!

Because the stillen exaust is just a tail piece and only adds 6 to 8 horses.. the greddy goes straight back to the cat and adds 15-18 horses.. better flow... not to mention that i got it fro 575 which is the best price that ive seen so far...

 

Wait, isn't the Stillen a Cat-Back exhaust?????......for $1200. it better be!!!!!

My bad bro i should have specified, Jedi... i have the 4 door, the system for the coupe and the G are identicle... and its nuts,,,,, the Stillen Exuast for teh 4 door is not extensive at all... Greddy is the best sounding and has the best performance, if u gots the 4 door
