What are the loudest exhausts on the market today?

IMO - #1 RSR, closely followed by the Injen SES & Stillen.

 

I have heard that the pro-1 is pretty loud too.

 

pro-1 headers and testpipes with stillen exhaust is very loud.

 

the three loudest exhausts are

1. Pro-1
2. RSR
3. Invidia

 

ok we are getting very different responses here...

Any info to base this on?

No way is the Invidia loud. It can roar when your on it.
I think the Nismo sounds very loud.

 

Open exhaust systems are by far, the LOUDEST and quite possibly one of the lightest

 

The Fall 03 edition of Sport Z has the best exhaust comparison I have seen. They measured the db of six exhausts at idle and 3K. In addition, they tested each for gains. The loudest is 5Zigen at 105db's at 3k as compared to 89db's for the stock. However, it lost HP.

For comparison, the Nismo was 95db and the Injen was 99db. Both gained in HP.

The Invidia for the Z is much louder than the G200 for the G, maybe that's what he meant?

 

These all have the same design, and I will bet money these are the loudest exhausts available. I had the Pro-1 on my car before and w/o silencers ... nothing compares.
